業務内容

Purpose of the position
Under the direction of Communications Director and discussions with other Communications managers, Digital Communications Senior Officer will manage MSF-Japan’s digital platforms, identify opportunities, mitigate risks, launch, evaluate and improve digital communication channels to disseminate MSF Japan’s production contents effectively and efficiently to expand reach and engagement of supporters to fulfil the delivery of MSF Japan’s strategic objectives.

Objectives
Digital Communications Senior Officer is expected:
• To develop strategy and to lead implementation of, digital communications including advertisement and promotions to raise awareness, and to increase reach and engagement of the general public, to meet strategic objectives of the Communications department and those of MSF Japan
• To collaborate with the Editorial Production Team to oversee and manage digital platforms and Social Networking Services, ensuring effective content dissemination.
• To monitor digital traffic and metrics to identify best practices and user interests, and analyze statistics, trends and tools to keep activities on track and to increase effectiveness of communications and promotions.
• To monitor, manage and report on possible risks in digital communications.
• To work closely with the marketing team of the Fundraising department, the web technical administrator and other members of MSF Japan to optimize and improve user experience, content creation and dissemination.

Main Responsibilities
Digital Communications
• Ensure MSF Japan’s content is disseminated effectively through MSF Japan’s website, social media platforms, and other digital channels and platforms, including advertisement and paid promotion, in alignment with other departments and teams.

Analysis and review
• Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of digital communications and reflect to digital strategy and make recommendations to improve and/or develop digital content, in close collaboration with communications officers and the webmaster.

Digital Engagement and Risk Management
• Monitor digital platforms regularly, manage comments, enquiries, and engagement, and respond to possible risks promptly.

Purpose of the position
Under the direction of Business Application Manager, and with the collaboration with other IT members, Business Application Sr. Officer is responsible for maintaining and operating business application systems (ex. donor and other supporter management systems, BI systems and other applications developed specifically for MSF Japan Office) These systems are essential for supporting internal client activities from IT perspective.
Business Application Sr. Officer is also expected to contribute to improve/enhance IT internal processes and controls.

Objectives
Business Application Sr. Officer is responsible for the effective management of IT systems and services, business-related IT initiatives. This includes the strategic use of internal and external resources—such as temporary staff, IT vendors, and financial assets—to ensure optimal performance and alignment with organizational goals.
・Ensure timely and accurate provision of data as scheduled or upon request.
・Maintain stable, secure, and efficient business application systems and services on a continuous basis.
・Support cross-departmental and departmental projects by identifying and implementing the most suitable IT solutions.
・Develop business application plans that align with the overall MSFJ strategy, departmental goals, and IT resource planning.
・Provide expert consultation and advice to internal stakeholders, demonstrating a strong understanding of both organizational and departmental objectives.

ファンドレイジングについて
国境なき医師団(MSF)の活動資金の9割以上は、個人をはじめとする民間からの寄付に支えられています。資金の独立性を保つことで、いかなる権力からの影響も受けず、必要とする人びとへ援助を届けることができます。
日本では2023年に、41万6781人の個人と1万687の企業・団体から、約130億円の寄付をいただきました。

ポジションについて
デジタル領域を強化するための業務拡大に伴う新設ポジションの募集です。
ファンドレイジング部マーケティング・マネジャー(既存支援者担当)のもと、MSFの活動資金を確保するために、主にデジタルチャネル(メールやウェブサイトなど)やテクノロジーを活用して、既存支援者とのコミュニケーション、関係性の維持・強化、緊急時などの寄付集め、寄付体験の向上などに取り組みます。
所属となるマーケティングチーム 2(既存支援者担当)には現在2名が在籍し、今後も増員を計画しています。

主な業務内容:
・既存支援者向けデジタル戦略の立案や計画策定
・施策の実行や改善
・データ分析や報告
・ITツール導入・活用の推進(CRMやCDP、MAツールなど)

・予算やベンダーの管理

事務局職員募集に関するよくあるご質問

Q 語学力はどの程度必要ですか。

原則として、ビジネスレベル(会議で意見を言える、英語で簡単なレポートを書ける程度)の英語力が必要です。

Q 医療・人道援助にまつわる専門性は必要ですか。

募集職種によりますが、入職の段階では必ずしも求められません。しかし、入職後ぜひ興味を持って勉強し、人道援助への理解を深めてください。国境なき医師団では、海外現場から帰国したスタッフによる報告会や、さまざまなレクチャー、外部向け講演会などを催しています。

Q 入職後の研修について教えてください。

オリエンテーション(座学)とオン・ザ・ジョブ・トレーニングを組み合わせた研修が1カ月程度行なわれます。その他、自身のスキルを高めるため、外部研修などに参加できる「自己啓発援助制度」もあります。
