業務内容

Purpose of the position
Under the supervision of Editorial Production Manager and guided by the strategy of MSF Japan as well as that of the Communications Department, create effective and engaging audio-visual contents and web articles, and undertake relevant tasks to help achieve MSF Japan’s communications objectives which ultimately contribute to assisting people in need of healthcare.

Objectives
Through audio-visual content production, and effective and strategic dissemination of audio-visual communications materials, increase MSF’s reach, awareness and engagement among the Japanese society to contribute to achieving strategic communications objectives of MSF Japan, and ultimately the mission of MSF movement and MSF Japan.

Main Responsibilities
・Production of audio-visual contents
・Dissemination of audio-visual contents
・Research, analyses and strategy development for effective use of audio-visual contents
・Management of audio-visual software and equipment, and relevant supportive tasks

About MSF and MSF Japan Field Human Resources (FHR) Department
Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) provides life-saving emergency relief and longer-term medical care to some of the most vulnerable and excluded communities around the world. As an independent medical humanitarian organisation, we deliver care based only on need, regardless of ethnic origin, gender, religion or political affiliation.

MSF has around 51,000 locally hired and internationally mobile staff working in over 70 countries and regions, in some of the most challenging places in the world. Our medical humanitarian projects are supported by offices in 41 countries around the world, including Japan established in 1992.

MSF Japan’s Field Human Resources (FHR) Department is responsible for managing the outreach, recruitment, placement, capacity building, career development, and psychosocial support for internationally mobile staff to meet the operational needs of MSF internationally. FHR Department closely works with Communications, Fundraising, Advocacy, and Support Services Departments and Tokyo Cell.

Purpose of the Position
Outreach Manager develops strategy and annual plans and oversees the implementation of outreach activities. Outreach activities aim to increase the recognition and attractiveness of MSF as a career choice among younger generations and mid-career professionals through targeted marketing and engagement with various stakeholders. The position contributes to the provision of diverse and quality human resources to respond to operational needs. Outreach Manager works in close collaboration with members of FHR Department, MSF Japan’s other departments, Association, and internationally mobile staff.

事務局職員募集に関するよくあるご質問

Q 語学力はどの程度必要ですか。

原則として、ビジネスレベル(会議で意見を言える、英語で簡単なレポートを書ける程度)の英語力が必要です。

Q 医療・人道援助にまつわる専門性は必要ですか。

募集職種によりますが、入職の段階では必ずしも求められません。しかし、入職後ぜひ興味を持って勉強し、人道援助への理解を深めてください。国境なき医師団では、海外現場から帰国したスタッフによる報告会や、さまざまなレクチャー、外部向け講演会などを催しています。

Q 入職後の研修について教えてください。

オリエンテーション(座学)とオン・ザ・ジョブ・トレーニングを組み合わせた研修が1カ月程度行なわれます。その他、自身のスキルを高めるため、外部研修などに参加できる「自己啓発援助制度」もあります。
