Work with MSF

Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) field workers are working in more than 70 countries around the world, bringing life-saving medical assistance to the people in need.

MSF Japan recruits field staff from Japan all year round and sends them to many of the countries in which MSF operates. We recruit not only medical staff but also non-medical staff, such as logisticians, administrators and coordinators.

Working overseas with MSF can be tough and demanding but it can also be extremely rewarding.

Who we need

MSF recruits both medical and non-medical staff such as logisticians and administrators. We need English/French speakers with working experience in the following areas.

Career with MSF

MSF encourages people to continue working for the organization beyond their first mission. It offers diverse career opportunities and training courses, and has a salary scale that reflects field experience. Local conditions and staff responsibilities vary in different settings, so working on different programs (nutrition, trauma surgery, mother and child health care, etc.) in different contexts (conflict areas, refugee camps, etc.) will broaden your professional experience. A stock of MSF field experience may make you eligible for positions such as Logistics, Medical, or Field Coordinator, or even Head of Mission. MSF experience will also be valuable for your career development in the broader NGO community.
